PM50sOB Connection to a Drum Machine

Note: Shown here is the PM50sOB - the PM50s operates identically.
Connect the drum machine or click track to a direct box, or other device that will convert the high impedance
output of the drum machine or click track to the balanced low impedance Mic input
of the PM50s or PM50sOB. Connect the direct box to the Mic Input of the PM50s
or PM50sOB. If you want to hear the drum machine signal through the main speakers,
connect the Mic Thru to your snake or mixer input. This is shown above as optional
because if you are just using a click track, the Mic Thru should be left unconnected.
Connect the Monitor Send from your mixer to the Monitor Input of the PM50s
or PM50sOB. If this is a stereo signal, you will again need a 1/4 Tip-Ring-Sleeve
plug, and the STEREO/MONO jumper should be in the STEREO position. If the Send
from your mixer is mono, use a standard 1/4 Tip-Sleeve cable and place the
STEREO/MONO jumper in the MONO position.
Connect your headphones or
earphones as shown.
Connect the PS27 power supply to an AC outlet,
begin playing your keyboard and check the microphone while adjusting each level
of the PM50s or PM50sOB for a comfortable volume.
